Deborah A.Farrington
Debby, has had a 30-year career in financial services encompassing 20 years of private equity investing and 11 years of investment banking. Ms. Farrington has 15 years of experience investing in business services companies. This includes eight years as a founding principal of StarVest where she played a critical role in shaping the Firm's strategy to invest in business services companies. As a result, StarVest has invested in nine business services companies, including six Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) companies, two marketing services companies and one managed services business. Several of these are financial services companies. Ms. Farrington represents StarVest on the boards of NetSuite, Insurance.com, Perquest and Fieldglass. Ms. Farrington has served on many

private and public company boards and on all major board committees. She has broad experience in corporate governance and Sarbanes-Oxley issues and has applied this expertise to the StarVest portfolio, particularly in providing guidance to companies with plans to go public.

From 1993 to 1997, Ms. Farrington was President & CEO of Victory Capital, LLC and Co-Chair of Victory Ventures, LLC, New York-based private equity firms. During this period, Victory invested $54 million with an IRR of over 35%. As CEO, Ms. Farrington had responsibility for investment activities and management of the Firm and identified the then-emerging area of business services as a sector of focus. She was a founding investor and Chairman of Staffing Resources, Inc., which grew from $17 million to more than $250 million in revenues through a consolidation strategy over five years.

From 1987 to 1993, Ms. Farrington was a Managing Director in New York and Hong Kong of Asian Oceanic Group, a Hong Kong-based merchant bank providing investment banking services and private equity investments in Asian companies. She was Executive Vice President and a Director of Tigera Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: TIGR) from 1992 to 1993, which was then controlled by Asian Oceanic.

From 1976 to 1987, Ms. Farrington was with Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc., where she had positions in management (as a member of the Operating Committee of Merrill Lynch International), securities analysis and corporate finance positions while based in New York, Hong Kong and Tokyo. From 1972 to 1974, she was a lending officer with the Chase Manhattan Bank in New York City.

Ms. Farrington has a BA from Smith College and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. She has been an active Smith and HBS alumnus and served as Vice President of the HBS Alumni Association Board of Directors (2001-2006) and is a member of the Venture Capital Steering Committee for the Harvard Business School Centennial in 2008. She is a member of the Committee of 200, the professional organization of preeminent women entrepreneurs and corporate leaders, and of the Board of Directors of Opportunity International, Inc., an international microfinance institution.
