He served for five years as General Counsel and a principal of Rosecliff, Inc., a management buyout firm founded by Peter T. Joseph. Mr. Veron began his legal career with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission and for 30 years thereafter practiced law with international firms, the last six of which were with Donovan Leisure Newton & Irvine, until he joined Rosecliff in 1994. Mr. Veron’s wealth of experience in transactional matters aids StarVest in its review of deal documentation and facilitates its working with outside law firms. He lends his general corporate and securities law knowledge to the operation of the Fund and Management Company. Mr. Veron received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his law degree from Columbia Law School.
