Darwin Melnyk

Darwin Melnyk has been President and Chief Executive Officer of IRON Solutions, Inc. since June 2006, leading the rapid recapitalization, repositioning and growth of the company. He has 20 years of leadership experience in data and services based companies in the publishing and technology sectors. As an innovator in the delivery of integrated application, transport and data services, in 1996 Darwin founded an application service provider and won key customers including Intel, Ziff Davis Publishing, Kodak and Hewlett Packard. He managed the company to profitability in the first 36 months of operations, grew recurring revenue to $10M in four years and led a liquidity event producing excellent returns for investors. Earlier in his career he developed content management and publishing services for a consortium of academic associations and research universities and co-founded one of the first digital prepress services firms. Darwin grew up on a family farm in Western Canada and has a BA from Friends University and a M.Div. from Emory University.
